Event Requirements
Hard Tech Week will take place October 26-30, 2026. The flagship event will be 47G's Zero Gravity Summit on October 28-29. Other official events are the Hard Tech Week Pitch Competition and Opening Party, which take place October 26 from 5:30-8:30 PM.
Events submitted cannot overlap with the Pitch Competition, Opening Party, or Zero Gravity, but all other times during the week are available for you to schedule your own events.
Hosts are responsible for selecting and managing their own event location. Events are not required to take place in the greater Salt Lake-Provo-Ogden area, but most will, so consider distance and attendee travel time when selecting your location.
Events should serve the hard tech, aerospace, and defense community.
Examples of qualifying events:
- Technical workshops or demonstrations
- Panel discussions on industry topics
- Startup showcases and demo days
- Networking mixers for founders and investors
You must submit your event to the official Hard Tech Week Calendar.
You can create your event listing directly through Luma where you can list details, track RSVP's, manage attendee communications, etc. If you prefer to do this through another platform, you can also add a link to an external event.
Once you submit your event to the calendar, the Hard Tech Week team will review it to ensure it meets guidelines.
Visit Luma CalendarHosts are responsible for all aspects of their event, including planning, promotion, and execution. This means making sure people know about your event, want to come to it, and have a good experience when they are in attendance. You are also responsible for funding your event.
In submitting an event to the official Hard Tech Week calendar, you are indicating that you understand this.
Being on the official calendar allows people to find your event, but it does not ensure attendance. Plan ahead to market your event through your own channels and use #hardtechweek to tie it to the broader week.
