Aces Delta, a Chevron Company
Chevron is the majority owner of ACES Delta, a joint venture with Mitsubishi Power, that is developing an energy hub near Delta, UT. The first project being advanced by the JV is a large renewable energy hub to produce, store, and deliver green hydrogen to the Western United States. Once complete, ACES will produce and store electrolytic hydrogen at utility scale in underground salt caverns, ensuring the uninterrupted and continuous flow of hydrogen to reliably fuel IPP and other hydrogen projects.
Chevron and the JV are building on this first project and leveraging the underground salt dome to advance other opportunities including hydrogen for mobility and other applications, natural gas storage, compressed air storage, power for data centers etc.
