Portal Aircraft are based on a patented design that allows multi-copters/drones to be powered by gas-turbine engines, without the need for heavy and complex mechanical geared power transmission and control systems. This allows Portal Aircraft to have the best characteristics of both eVTOLs (simplicity, low maintenance, redundancy, safety) and conventional helicopters (Long range and endurance).
