IMSAR Sets New Standard for Miniaturized Radar with First Flight of the NanoSAR D
IMSAR's NanoSAR D Radar Electronics Assembly completed its first successful flight, marking a major step forward in miniaturized radar technology. The system's software-defined architecture handles signal processing functions (including pulse generation, filtering, and detection) in software rather than hardware, delivering faster processing speeds and greater power while actually reducing weight and size. The modular, scalable design paves the way for two next-generation radar systems: the 360-degree Quad Horizon and the NSP-4. Springville-based IMSAR called it a "stepwise performance increase" that strengthens its position as the low-SWaP radar market leader.
