Andy Pierucci
Director
Andy Pierucci is the Mountain West Region Corporate Manager of State and Local Affairs for the Fortune 100 company, Northrop Grumman Corporation. He is responsible for setting and achieving the state and local goals set forth by Northrop Grumman Corporation. Andy excels at bringing various coalitions and interests together for a common cause. He has an extensive background in political campaigns, communications, strategy, public policy, and international trade. Before joining Northrop Grumman Corporation, Andy worked as the Director of Public Policy and Business Development at the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce. He shaped the chamber’s policy process to facilitate the coalescing of many ideas and opinions into an actionable way forward representing the voice of business in the region. Previously, Andy spent four years working for the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food in a number of different policy, market enhancement, and leadership roles. As the Director of the Department’s Marketing, Communications, and Economic Development Division he oversaw all department communications, the Utah’s Own program, and the state’s agricultural international trade program.
In addition to his full time job with Northrop Grumman, Andy is an adjunct professor at the Center for National Security Studies at Utah Valley University teaching courses on advanced and emerging technology and space policy. Andy has extensive experience in political campaigns and the policy process. He spent three years working as a congressional campaign manager and has worked on campaigns at every level of government. He also serves as a member of the Utah Advisory Committee for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and has served on many different local government advisory boards. In 2018, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce appointed Andy to serve on the Utah District Export Council. He served on that council for three years. In 2021 Andy was named as one of Utah Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Award recipients. Andy got his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Utah State University. He obtained a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Utah and has a certificate in Business, International Relations and the Political Economy from the London School of Economics. He lives with his wife and young son in Riverton, Utah.
