Arthur Jessop
Arthur Jessop is the founder and CEO of Base Case, the world's first ultraportable command center built into a compact suitcase. A corporate leader turned entrepreneur, Arthur built Base Case from the ground up to solve a problem he lived firsthand, the compromise of trying to do serious, high-stakes work on the road.
Arthur's career spans nearly every corner of the capital and operating worlds. He began in institutional investment management at the University of Utah endowment, where he developed a rigorous, analytical foundation in capital allocation and portfolio strategy. From there he moved into the family office industry, advising and managing wealth at the intersection of investment strategy and private companies and real estate. Seeking to get closer to the business side, Arthur crossed to the operating side. He joined a private equity platform focused on acquiring and rolling up consumer brands, where he experienced the demands of high-performance work in a constantly mobile environment.
It was that experience that became the seed for Base Case. What started as sketches in a garage became a patented and patent-pending, precision-engineered ultraportable command center that is now shipping to professionals, defense teams, and enterprises around the world.
Arthur is based in Draper, Utah, where Base Case is designed and engineered.
