Chip Teets is Senior Director,
International Programs, Products & Technology for the Broadband Communication Systems Sector of L3Harris Technologies. Broadband Communication Systems covers a broad portfolio of Link-16 radios, weapon data links, SATCOM and assured mission networks.
Teets assumed his position in 2024. His responsibilities include managing international programs, product sales, product portfolios, investment portfolios as well as technology strategy for the $1.7B+ annual revenue sector. In this capacity, Teets reports directly to the Sector President.
Previously, he served in roles of increasing responsibility including Chief Of Staff for the Communications Systems Segment and Director, Corporate Strategy, and Development, where he was responsible for supporting M&A and strategic initiatives for the corporation. This included managing the L3Harris business post-merger portfolio shaping strategy, supporting the L3Harris merger in 2018 and leading the $400 million Combat Propulsion Systems divestiture.
Before joining L3Harris, Teets was a Management Consultant for L.E.K. Consulting in their Chicago, IL office, leading M&A due diligences as well as growth strategies for clients across multiple industries.
Teets also served in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, HI, successfully completing two 12-month combat deployments to Iraq.
Teets has a M.B.A from the NYU Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Physics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
