Chris Lowe is an accomplished business leader with more than 30 years’ experience, the past 20 of which in C-suite and executive-level roles in healthcare and finance. He brings extensive strategic and operational expertise to Nusano, including licensing, financing and acquisitions.
As CEO, Chris is responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction and overseeing key priorities. Prior to Nusano, Lowe served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Cortexyme, Inc., a biotech company focused on Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative diseases. There, he led the company’s IPO in 2019, oversaw a cash injection via a PIPE (private investment in public equity) in 2020, and guided the company’s eventual acquisition by Novosteo. Lowe holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from California Polytechnic State University, and an MBA in Finance from St. Mary’s University.
