Matthew Bailey
Matthew Bailey leads Market Solutions for ARCO Design/Build’s Aerospace & Defense practice nationally, where he helps defense primes, aerospace manufacturers, and government partners translate mission requirements into executable facility and infrastructure programs. He brings more than 16 years of experience spanning aerospace engineering, advanced testing, naval shipbuilding, government services, and design-build construction. Matthew holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech, with additional degrees in aerospace engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and EPF Engineering School. As a 47G Industry Advisory Board member, he contributes practical insight on scaling defense manufacturing, strengthening the industrial base, and connecting technology, infrastructure, and workforce to national-security outcomes.
