Rodman D. Grimm
Rodman D. Grimm (“Rod”) is the President of AZ Build Right, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business “SDVOSB” that offers facility-safety ecosystems, emergency-response systems, next-generation threat detection, and a team that brings them to the institutions that need them.
Rod has served the nation in important policy positions at the Department of Commerce and the Department of Energy, and on the Congressional staff as a Legislative Director. He was appointed by President Reagan to serve on the congressionally mandated Advisory Panel on Alternative Means of Financing and Managing Radioactive Waste Facilities.
As the lead consultant for the conveyance of the former Fort Ord property and facilities, Rod obtained over 2 billion of land and infrastructure for The California State University System, at no cost, without use restrictions. The former Fort Ord is now the home of the Campus of California State University, Monterey Bay.
Rod earned an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA in Economics from Washington State University. He graduated cum laude from both Universities.
