As CEO and founder of Wasatch I.T., Spencer is paving the way for the business technology industry. Spencer’s revolutionary approach to I.T. originates with simple principles: hard work and relentless improvement. Wasatch I.T. is proud to be the Managed Services Provider for over 500 organizations and is Utah’s largest locally owned outsourced I.T. firm. Spencer was named to Utah Business magazine’s “Forty Under 40” at the age of 29 and is an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. He is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Council and proudly serves in numerous community organizations. Notably, as a board member of Alta Club and ChamberWest, and president-elect of the Salt Lake Rotary Club.
Originally founded in 2002, Spencer established the beginnings of “Wasatch Software”. Using his expertise on Microsoft licensing and anti-piracy, Spencer built upon the importance of being a value-added reseller that specialized in specific computer hardware and software. Adapting to customers’ needs, Spencer evolved “Wasatch Software” into a Managed Service Provider, where it became known as “Wasatch I.T.” Wasatch I.T. has won numerous accolades throughout its history, including four consecutive “Inc. 5000” and “Utah 100” awards, “Microsoft Partner of the Year,” and is regularly recognized as one of Utah’s Top Workplaces and Best Places to Work.
