Cody Fowers
Cody Fowers grew up on a dairy farm in Hooper, Utah, in a hardworking family that taught him the value of persistence, responsibility, and earning opportunities through effort. His career in federal contracting began with an entry-level computer help desk position at Hill Air Force Base, earning $8 per hour. With little computer experience at the time, Cody learned on the job and steadily worked his way from technical support to server administration and eventually program management. Those early experiences gave him an appreciation for the people doing the day-to-day work and helped shape his belief that successful companies are built by attracting talented people, treating them well, and giving them opportunities to succeed.
Over the course of his career, Cody has developed extensive experience in the federal contracting industry. He has helped procure and manage numerous government contracts, working to provide strong value to government customers while creating meaningful employment opportunities for employees. He believes lasting success in federal contracting comes from understanding the customer's mission, building trusted relationships, developing strong partnerships, and taking care of the people who perform the work.
Cody earned bachelor's degrees in Technical Sales and Telecommunications Administration from Weber State University, a Master's Certificate in Federal Government Contracting from George Washington University, and an MBA from Brigham Young University.
Today, Cody owns and operates Viranim Technical Solutions alongside his wife, Amy. Viranim provides information technology and engineering services to federal government customers. Cody remains closely involved in the company's growth, customer relationships, partnerships, and—most importantly—building an organization where talented people want to work and build their careers.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with Amy and their four children, Chloe (Andres), Teah, Trey, and Cord. He also enjoys skiing, boating, golfing, and spending time outdoors.
