Ray Leto, President of TotalSim US, brings over 30 years of extensive experience in race engineering, aerodynamics, simulation, and management, including more than 10,000 hours of wind tunnel and countless track test sessions.

He is a hands-on leader who not only oversees the day-to-day operations of TotalSim US but also works directly with clients. Ray utilizes CFD, wind tunnel, and on-track testing to find and implement solutions, and he also supports customers with the installation of software and TotalSim solutions.

Ray's deep background in racing has seen him serve in various capacities for numerous IndyCar racing organizations, including roles as aerodynamicist, chief race engineer, technical director, team manager, and general manager. His contributions were instrumental in achieving many poles and race wins, notably the Indy 500.

In addition to his corporate work, Ray has served as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI on several funded projects by organizations such as the Department of Energy, NSMC, and the Ohio Third Frontier.

He is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers International (SAE), serving on the Motorsports Engineering and Aerodynamics Committees as a paper reviewer and session chair. Ray has also held advisory board seats for the UNC-Charlotte Motorsports and Automotive Research Center and The Ohio State University SIMCenter.

Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, which he earned from Penn State University in 1985.
