Mark Wahlen

Mark Wahlen is the Director of Innovation and Strategy at AWA, a Utah-based land development consulting and services firm. He leads firm-wide initiatives in growth, strategy, technology, and operations, while working directly on land development projects with a focus on early-stage planning and entitlements. Prior to land development, he worked in the startup and technology space, bringing a cross-industry perspective to how projects are planned and delivered. Mark works closely with developers and communities to move projects from concept to reality, with an emphasis on industry-leading execution and long-term project impact. He is passionate about shaping Utah’s future by helping build the ecosystem that supports advanced industries and drives long-term economic growth.
