Humberto Nieto serves as General Manager of the Missiles Business Unit at Moog Space and Defense Group, providing executive leadership for advanced WNY development programs, Salt Lake City missile operations, and Moog Australia operations. He drives strategic growth and operational excellence, overseeing advanced missile systems initiatives focused on precision and motion control technologies. Humberto leads high-impact production programs, such as custom fin Control Actuation System assemblies for Lockheed Martin’s PAC-3 and RTX’s SM-6, delivering superior quality, reliability, performance, and cost-efficient, on-time execution while fostering partnerships with U.S. and global stakeholders.
Previously, at Raytheon, Humberto was Director of Program Management for major acquisition programs in the Advanced Technology Business. He led development of hypersonic and precision-guided missile systems, integrating innovative technology and materials while achieving operational excellence to deliver optimal system quality, reliability, and performance.
Concurrently, Humberto served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel, retiring after a distinguished career as a Senior Intelligence Officer. He provided critical intelligence analysis and strategic planning, enhancing mission-critical operations and fostering seamless coordination with inter-service and allied forces.
