Ann Millner
Utah State Senator
Dr. Ann Millner is a distinguished leader in Utah's education and public service sectors. She served as the 11th president of Weber State University from 2002 to 2012, becoming the first woman to hold that position. Under her leadership, the university experienced significant growth, including a nearly 40% increase in enrollment and the establishment of WSU-Davis. In 2014, she was elected to the Utah State Senate, where she has represented both the 18th and 5th districts. As a senator, she has focused on education, economic development, and workforce preparation. Dr. Millner holds a B.S. in Education from the University of Tennessee, an M.S. in Allied Health Education and Management from Southwest Texas State University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Administration from Brigham Young University.
