Jon Ginn

Jon Ginn currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Research with 3D Systems. He is seasoned professional with over 25 years' experience in leading teams, executing on complex DOD projects, and providing systems engineering and program management support. He is a proactive leader with strengths in developing strategic partnerships supporting complex design, build, and test initiatives within the DOD environment. Jon also has experience in providing program development, oversight, and execution for the curation of AM experimental data sets for Laser Powder Bed Fusion [LPBF]. He has experience supporting material and feature validation of metal-AM simulation software including managing the development of AM fabrication specifications for single bead, porosity, tensile bars, and microstructure imaging. Additionally, Jon has experience in business development, capture management, and proposal development within the DoD environment.

Jon received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University.
