Michael Sean Covey is a Managing Partner at FranklinCovey (NYSE: FC), where he leads partnerships with mission-critical public-sector organizations. In this role he helps organizations develop exceptional leaders, build high-trust cultures, and achieve breakthrough mission success.
Previously, Michael Sean served as Senior Strategy Manager at Kroger (NYSE: KR, Fortune 25), where he led strategy and planning for a $5 billion eCommerce grocery business. He led transformation initiatives that produced double-digit increases in customer Net Promoter Scores and significant revenue growth across 2,000 stores.
Michael Sean is the Co-Founder and former Executive Director of Bridle Up Hope, a global nonprofit building mental health and leadership in at-risk youth. As the first employee, he hired and developed a world-class team of 25 people, raised $5 million to launch the program and build its global headquarters, and helped it reach 3,000+ youth worldwide—95% of whom report life-changing impact. In 2019, Bridle Up Hope was named one of “America’s Top Charities” to watch, and Michael Sean was named one of Utah’s “40 Under 40”.
He holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Oxford, a BA from Brigham Young University, and completed Mediation Training with the University of Utah Law School.
Outside of work, he enjoys fishing with his kids, collecting vintage sneakers, and trying to improve his rough pickleball game. He’s passionate about helping organizations and people unlock potential.
