Patti Ross

Chief Corporate Engagement Officer University of Utah

Patti Ross, Chief Corporate Engagement Officer for the University of Utah, identifies and develops strategic collaborations between industry partners and the University including research initiatives, grant partnership pursuits, student internships/employment, etc.

Having been with the University for nearly 20 years, Patti previously served as the University’s Chief of Staff to the President amongst other strategic planning roles including the U’s five-year plan, the U’s real estate portfolio, and other initiatives. Prior to joining the U, Patti worked as an economic consultant, regional manager for an international telecommunications company, and as an auditor for an international CPA firm.

Patti is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah and holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA, from the University of Utah. Patti serves on several boards including Utah’s Urban Land Institute, Economic Development Corporation of Utah, and ARUP. A passionate advocate for education, Patti volunteers as an instructor for the refugee community teaching business leadership. She enjoys alpine skiing, mountain biking and spending time with family – particularly in the mountains.
