President and Managing Member AZ Build Right

Rodman D. Grimm is the President of AZ Build Right, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business "SDVOSB”. AZ Build Right’s primary purpose is to provide next generation security systems to customers concerned about the safety of their facilities. AZ Build Right has an Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) Technology that can identify concealed weapons before they become dangerous and life threatening.

This technology is a key component in the national effort to stop shootings and killings!

Rod has served the nation in important policy positions at the Department of Commerce and the Department of Energy, and on the Congressional staff as a Legislative Director. He was appointed by President Reagan to serve on the congressionally mandated Advisory Panel on Alternative Means of Financing and Managing Radioactive Waste Facilities. Rod was recommended by the Congress and appointed by the Director of the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) to serve on the Congressionally Mandated Panel that guided the preparation of the formal needs-based analysis and cost/benefit study of natural disaster management and mitigation alternatives.

Rod has managed major projects for California State University, Blue Mountain Community College, City of Long Beach, Northern Illinois Commuter Rail System, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, Mito Systems, City of Monterey California, Omaha Nebraska, State of Illinois, Town of Dauphin Island, Alabama, University of California, Washington State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and many other business, professional and governmental
entities.

As the lead consultant for the conveyance of the former Fort Ord property and facilities, Rod obtained over 2 billion of land and infrastructure for The California State University System, at no cost, without use restrictions. The former Fort Ord is now the home of the Campus of California State University, Monterey Bay.

Rod earned an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA in Economics from Washington State University. He graduated cum laude from both Universities.

As an Officer in the United States Army Special Forces, Rod served in combat in Viet Nam.
