Founded in 1987, EDCUtah is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to building Utah's economy by creating quality jobs and increasing capital investment in the state. EDCUtah works with state and local government and private industry to attract and grow high-value companies, spur the development and expansion of local businesses, and recruit out-of-state companies to Utah. EDCUtah is here to help companies through their expansion, relocation or consolidation processes. From first call to ribbon cutting, EDCUtah provides the professional and responsive support companies need to be successful. The Rosie Project

The Program, The Rosie Project is a 6-month Information Technology program for military spouses in collaboration with Weber State University and Hill Air Force Base. The military spouses attend courses that are specific to the needs of the Department of Defense and prepare them to pass IT Certifications and transition to a full-time position at Hill AFB.

The Utah Black Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of nearly 400 African and African-American small business in Utah. We look to provide education, resources, and increase the visibility of these businesses. We also look to engage the large corporations and community to the small businesses as they look to build a relationship and be a resources as well.

Women Tech Council

The Women Tech Council (WTC) focuses on the economic impact of women in driving growth for the technology sector. WTC builds programs that amplify and create tech talent to support more women in technology careers from high school to the board room. Through our programs, WTC offers mentoring, visibility, opportunities and networking to more than 10,000 women and men working in technology, has activated more than 12,000 girls to pursue STEM fields, and helps organizations create business environments focused on high performance, not just diversity, where men and women can succeed. These efforts propel individual careers and the tech talent pipeline by ensuring a strong, diverse, and entrepreneurial technology workforce.

Apex Accelerators

Utah’s APEX Accelerator program (formerly known as PTAC) helps Utah businesses to find, bid and win procurement opportunities with federal, state, and local government entities. Through one-on-one and group counseling APEX educates and assists Utah businesses to more effectively compete in the government marketplace. APEX provides a bid-matching service to help businesses identify relevant contracting opportunities and then offers technical assistance on many aspects of the government contracting process including, but not limited to, B2G marketing, diversity program eligibility and solicitation response document review.

Military Installation Development Authority

The Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA) is a state and economic development authority whose mission is to support military installations and active-duty service members while promoting the economic health of local communities in the state of Utah. MIDA currently facilities the top two economic development projects in the state, the Falcon Hill National Aerospace Research Park on Hill Air Force Base and the Military Recreational Facility Project Area in Wasatch County.
