Thomas Brown has served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Palladyne AI since May 2024. In this role, he leads strategic customer engagements, partnerships and program execution, business development initiatives, customer-funded research and development, and both domestic and international sales.
Before joining Palladyne AI, Brown held sales leadership positions at Teledyne FLIR, a global leader in imaging systems, advanced threat detection, and multi-domain unmanned systems.
Brown began his professional career as a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer, serving in assignments worldwide. Following his military service, he founded and managed a successful oil and gas royalty acquisition company before transitioning his focus to defense-related technologies.
Brown earned an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy. He also serves on 47G’s Industry Advisory Board.
