DBT Aero was formed in 2019 to commercialize ultra-efficient, super-laminar flow aircraft designs including the patented Double Box Tail (DBT), advanced integrated drag reduction, and leading edge sustainable powertrain technologies. DBT Aero has built and tested three proof-of-concepts in our Swyft™ family of Group 1, 2, & 3 UAVs including a 3D printed Group 1 UAV. The company received an FAA Special Airworthiness Certificate to ground & flight test the manned Synergy™ proof-of-concept in preparation for certified production.
