Hal Murdock

Hal Murdock is the President & CEO of American Pacific Corporation ("AMPAC"). Hal joined AMPAC in 2016 where he has helped to continue AMPAC's long legacy as a key supplier of mission-critical chemicals.

Prior to joining AMPAC, Hal was the Senior Director of Navy Programs at Orbital ATK, where he managed the solid rocket motor propulsion program for Trident II D5 submarine launched ballistic missiles.

Hal also served as a Director of Business Development during his tenure at Orbital ATK, where he was responsible for overseeing the business strategy and strategic planning of the company’s strategic and commercial division.

Before his time at Orbital ATK, Hal amassed a distinguished 25-year career as a U.S.Navy officer serving in multiple roles, including command of several squadrons and most recently as Commander, Strike Fighter Wing U.S. Pacific Fleet, where he was responsible for training, maintaining, manning, and equipping twenty squadrons comprised of more than 300 aircraft and 5,500 people.
