Nate Ruben is the founder of EPX, a leading firm specializing in electronics and software design. Shortly after completing his studies, Nate launched Smart Beat, a pioneering company rooted in his groundbreaking research on using optical technology to monitor an infant’s breathing. Following the successful sale of Smart Beat in 2020, Nate led the R&D team at Nanobebe, a cutting-edge technology startup. Today, Nate and his team at EPX focus on designing advanced camera systems, embedded IoT hardware, and sophisticated algorithms, providing innovative solutions to multiple defense contractors.
